What You’ll Do
- Define Product Vision & Strategy: Drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Foundational's core offerings, focusing on solving critical data governance, quality, and privacy challenges for data teams.
- End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Own the entire product lifecycle from ideation, user research, and requirements definition through design, development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
- Deep Customer Understanding: Conduct extensive user research, gather feedback, and analyze market trends to identify key problems and unmet needs within the data landscape.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful execution and delivery.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor the data governance and data quality market, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and ensure Foundational's product remains cutting-edge.
- Reporting: Report to the CTO.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of bringing successful products to market.
- At least 2 prior PM roles in your career history.
- Experience working in a B2B or B2B SaaS environment.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and ability to engage effectively with engineering teams on technical discussions.
- Self-motivated, highly passionate, and customer-obsessed attitude.
- Advantages:
- Experience with technical products (e.g., developer tools, APIs, infrastructure products).
- Prior experience in a startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
- Experience working as a software developer or in a similar technical role.
